6th Grade WEB Orientation is now Fri Aug 27th!
I'm sure this is not a surprise to you. Due to the impending storm we need to POSTPONE the WEB Orientation until Friday, August 27. We will maintain the same schedule for the orientation - just simply move it until Friday. Thanks for your understanding and I hope this doesn't pose additional issues for your week. Let's just get through this storm. Our children have become very flexible over the past two years! Encourage your children to chat with their WEB Leaders through email or phone until they finally meet. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.
WEB Leaders
At this point you should have received an email from your child's WEB Leader. This is an open door for communication. If your child has a million questions, their WEB Leader is a great resource! They can communicate through email immediately. You could also plan a phone call if you would like to have a more casual conversation. If your WEB Leader has not reached out to you yet, they may be out of town, but feel free to email me and I can give you their contact information. The students are using their school email accounts to reach out. It will look like 26lastnamefirstinital@wiltonps.org
Clarifying details:
During Monday's orientation your child will be in a group of approximately EIGHT 6th graders and TWO 8th grade WEB Leaders. They will play some "getting to know you" games and challenges and complete a tour of the school. This relationship will continue throughout the school year. Please use your WEB Leader as a resource - they are eager to support their WEB students.
